LT Cases invested in an Exenso sawing machine, in order to meet the increasing demand. The result was a significant increase in productivity. Whereas previously, they were only able to work or two profiles simultaneously, they can now work on up to 6 profiles at the same time.
Thanks to the tried and tested Exenso Comfort control system, it is easy to operate. The sawblades (1x90°; 2x45°) enable V – cuts and bevelling.
There is a cross-slide on the conveyor, which pushes the finished parts onto a table. While the exact lengths are being cut, in a fully automatic process, the operator can already begin putting the finished parts together to form the frames.
Company profile: L.T. Cases GmbH & CO. KG, Hausen
Flight cases came to Germany from England and the USA. At the time, they were expensive, although the technology was actually relatively simple.
The founders of the company, who had years of experience in the music business themselves, decided to start building affordable, high-quality cases for their own use, and for friends. From the beginning of the 80s, they have been designing and producing transport cases, 19" racks, covers and equipment cases, and individual, multifunctional system cases, studio furniture and custom-made articles for all areas of use.
Their constant growth is reflected by the production figures and the number of employees. Since 2014, the production figures have risen to around 86,000.
